Finally Some descent pictures! I have finally replaced my old broken down camera...I was getting so frustrated with it not working and have been taking pictures for MONTHS with an iphone. Not ideal for these kinds of pictures. Hubby bought me a Canon Rebel T3 in a hot red color for my birthday Last Saturday so I am back in business. Just have to figure out how it really works...LOL

I just received my Papertrey Order a few days ago and it was a big one. I ordered around $350 worth of product since my husband didn't bother to get me anything for our 10 year wedding anniversary...hehe Anyway, with both my girlies being in school full time now I am taking FULL advantage of my craft room, that is until I rip it all apart and remodel it...again! Just wanted to share a couple cards I made with the new Simple Sunflower stamps I bought.

So this is the first card I made and it did not turn out quite like I was hoping. It wont go in the scrap pile but it inspired me to try something else.....

So I used the same layout of the flowers and script but on plain white which is very out of character for me, but in this case the plainess of the layout sells me on this card!!

And here is a shot showing the dimension with the multi layered foam squares

Happy Hump Day Everyone!!

Yesterday I did some catching up on my google reader and noticed that The Loonie Stampers Challenge is back up and running after their summer break. The theme picked by Wendy last week was School Theme. That inspired me to post this little project I finished over the summer.

I have started making product for the annual craft show I always do right before Christmas and this is officially the first item I made to get me going this year (as a matter of fact I made two like this)

This is the cover of the album and also a little "peek a boo" on the front cover. You will notice most of the paper and things used in the book are from the "Elementary" line from Simple Stories by Memory Works...I LOVE that paper! Anywho here is the rest of the book!

Well hello everyone! I hope everyone had a great and wonderful Summer. I had a pretty good one. Great friends, New Deck and backyard landscaping done this summer and because of that we enjoyed MANY barbeque's at our house. Now that school is back in and BOTH my girls are in school I seem to have an entirely empty schedule so i am hoping to spend as much time crafting as I can. For now I am going to play catch up with all the things I made this summer but didn't get around to posting.

Starting with this little card. I think it is my Favorite one of the summer!!

Over this last weekend, My boss and his wife renewed their wedding vows. Everyone at work chipped in money to get them a gift certificate to a cabin resort and spa in the area, which we thought be nice considereing they have FIVE BOYS. Escape may be a nice thing...lol.

Anyway, this is the card I made to go with it and yes, it is purple as those we her colors. Its kinda growing on me.

I have been on a "friends off" with my craft room for a while. Since finishing with the Loonie Stampers Challenge, my mojo went AWAL but fear not, it has returned! A friend of mine, and the wife of one of my bosses, came to me and asked if I could make wedding invitations for there upcoming renewal of their marriage vows. I was delighted...and then she said purple. We brainstormed together and came up with a soft and elegant invitation to suit her needs :)

This is how it looked after all the parts were printed

and here it is after the cutting

the front of the invitation is printed on vellum and backed with white and then propped up on the purple with pop dots!

and then the inside printed and assembled to match

I know normally today I have a post with The Loonie Stampers Challenge but today this post comes from even deeper in my heart. It is a thank you. A thank you to each of the loonie stampers, Charlene, Wendy, Regan, Deanna and Maria. I have truly treasured being a part of such a wonderful online experience. Better yet, it was a great pleasure to meet you all last summer and truly those moments I will never forget.

It is with great sadness that I announce that I will not be participating with those lovely ladies each Friday anymore. I will still be posting cards, hopefully soon. I have some free time on a regular basis now as my work shifts have changed and life will not be nearly as busy for me (Not to mention my husband will be home from a 4 week long trip working in Texas). I look forward to seeing you all from time to time in blog land!

It is sketch time again Ladies!!

Wendy has brought us another FABULOUS Sketch to play along with and I suggest you play along, It is a fun one!!

I used some background paper have been hoarding and layers my blocks of Cranberry Crisp (SU) that embossed with three different patterns. A little of this and a Little of that finished it off, including my cute green wrinkle ribbon that bought from Dee's Etsy store.....LOVE that stuff

Just another note: I was asked where I got the Purple twine from last weeks Challenge I also got that from Dees Store ;)

Well I am feeling much better since my last post. Seriously coughing so hard I thought I was gonna be 31 years old with depends! Anyway, Thanks go out to Crafty Kat and Dee for the well wishes for a speedy recovery, Kat you cracked me up! Thanks.

Now back to business...Here is my card from last weeks challenge. It was not what I had planned but I only have access to part of my craft room and a limited amount of supplies since my house JUST finished having insurance claim repairs done to my ceilings and paint in my whole house. Given the limited supplies, I have to say I am quite in love with this card :)

The current weeks challenge today (from Dee) I wanted to use my new paper from Stampin Up! so I used it to make a wrinkly paper flower. Also i used some ribbon (twine type stuff) that I have been hanging on to. I thought it added a rustic yet elegant twist to the flower...pearls adding to the vintage factor and voila!

Best tasting Birthday cake I have had! It was a marble cake with raspberry filling with only a super thin layer of butter cream icing holding on the fondant layer...and cute!!!

Cough Cough

So I have bronchitis really bad which is super fun. I have discovered after having two kids and having this cold, that not only have I been coughing so hard I have thrown up but I also have to avoid peeing...LOL hahahaha I love the body as it gets older!

Anyways, I am having insurance work done in my house this week so my craft room is buried under living room furniture and such and will bring my loonie cards in a double whammy next Friday. :)

This weeks challenge was selected by yours truly!

I decided on these colors based on the pretty sparkly chipboard type stuff that my wonderful Daughters picked out for me from Micheal's at Christmas time. I knew for sure that I wanted to use some dies to cut this stuff up....the colors remind of Neapolitan ice cream..LOL

Since the v-day season is coming up I decided to use those colors to do a card with that theme.

Loonie Stampers Challenge #125

This week Wendy decided to shake it up a little bit and gave us a sketch.

So Fun!!! I also think it is a LSC Consensus that she do sketches more often and we

shall call her Sketchy bitch (play to the tune of Sexy Bitch)

Love it!

I embossed my card first and then attached some gigantic ric rac that I have been hoarding since the LSC vacation last summer. Isn't that stuff amazing? Anywho then I dug out some PTI dies and made a flower (little DSP, Little felt) Topped it off with a button on top!

As most of you know I work an amazing website designer and her talent always seems to floor me. She surprised me with a new layout for my old website. I was so thrilled and guess what? She based her design off one of the designs of my cards...this one right here.

I cant wait until it is done and I can do all the fine tuning and share it with all of you....but for now I must go so I can get back to work on the ones that make up my paychecks :)

Loonie Stampers Challenge #124

Welcome back!

Last week I was still suffering some holiday fog and was extremely late with my post, I seem to have things back on track! So I dug right into this weeks color challenge provided by Miss Delaware, Maria!

I am going to start by telling you about the stamp that I used.

My husband, following traditions of the past 14 years, took our Daughters with him while Christmas shopping on....yup, December 24th!! They ended up in Micheal's and my Daughters picked out this beautiful Angels set by INKADINKADO.

So I stamped and cut it out and colored it up with my Prisma pencils. I {heart} Prisma!! (I wonder if the loonies are still tired of hearing me say that?) Now it is hard to tell in the picture but the sentiment is stamped in Enchanted evening with the word Love being stamped in Dark Chocolate! I also used a tiny bit of blue to enhance the appearance of her wings.

I am also glad to say that I figured out a way to take a descent photo with my iPhone since my camera is out of commission at the moment....Can you believe I took this photo when it was dark as midnight outside???

Santa stopped at my house

I know Christmas has come and gone but I have been taking vacation from my computer as well. I literally have been doing everything from my iPhone! (Love that damn thing)

Anyways I was very excited to open this present Christmas morning! My hubby actually got me the dishes I told him i wanted ages ago. I now have a complete 8 place setting of this yummy chocolate damask pattern set from stokes. I think I may have to add one more set to make it 12 :)

a Late Loonie...

Wow..What a Holiday season. Were you as busy as me? Im Sure EVERYONE was busy. I feel like I was caught be complete surprise this season. so weird!

Anyway here is a glimpse at a neat little project I am working on which happens to fit in the Loonie Challenge for this past Friday "Stitch N Bitch" or something like that...lol

A local Radio Personality is getting married and approached me to make her invitations very unique. She wants her entire invite to appear as an old fashion or vintage parcel. Think 1930's romance in lettermail....so cool. this is what i have so far, but I am sure there will be some fine tuning to come.....

Pardon the photos my camera is still broken so these come from my iPhone.

The book itself is going to be about 4-6 pages and every page is going to have little pockets and pull outs to display all the information such as the invite, menu, location, hotel, registry etc....I cant wait to see the book evolve to a finish....and then i have to make 75 of them.. :)

After solving my technical difficulties (I was able to borrow Camera Equipment from my great photog friend Justin) I can now catch up on the loonie challenges!

First up was Char;s Challenge to use doilies, which I didn't have so I created a doilies look with my snowflake stamped edge of this cookie bag tag. I also surrounded it with lace, which was actually given to all us Loonie Girls by Char on our Loonie Getaway last July.

I actually had an order for 16 of these cute little bags, fun and easy to make!

Well it is my week to pick some colors!
Since Winter is upon (or will be) I want to stay reminded of spring so
I went with some bright cheery colors!

This is a card I made for a new friends' birthday. She is one of my Co-workers girlfriends and I she is so fabulous I thought she needed a fabulous Birthday Card.

I had a lot of fun ditching the patterned paper and keeping it simple with some colored polka dots, I mean, how can you go wrong with dots, right?

I layers some flowers made of felt that I cut using my papertrey dies. thank goodness with felt I dont have to throw my dies against the wall, right Wendy?!

Wendy has us all thinking about a hot vacation. Let me tell you that sounds REALLY good about now. But since I can't i will just have to pretend that us loonies are kicking back on a beach somewhere drinking beergiritas!!

It is kinda hard to read in the picture but the sentiment says "Good friends, Good Books. This is the ideal life. ~ Mark Twain" and then on the inside I wrote ... and a little vacation doesn't hurt either. this is for a friend of mine that is taking a cruise with some of her friends. I am begging her to tuck me into a suitcase but still no luck!

Loonie Stampers Challenge #114

Ok, so this week with Maria's colors I had to cheat a teeny tiny bit. I was going to order the New Linen color from papertrey but my PayPal wouldn't let me use anything but credit card which i dont have. This has happened to me a few times but only on PTI, weird!

Anywho, I used some Stampin Up Kraft taffeta ribbon as my New Linen substitute and I think it works. I also used one of their new embossing folders and I have to say I am so in love with how crisp the embossing looks compared to my previously beloved cuttlebug folders.

Well I can't wait to go see the goods from the other loonies.

Loonie Stampers Challenge #111

Well Char wanted us to go crazy with buttons. I am crazy for sure but not with buttons. So the first card I was almost done and realized "how and I going to incorporate buttons with this?" So I used some of my SU buttons. But that wasn't good enough so I made another card. Plus I had done this card a few weeks back that would have been perfect for this challenge as well.

This was the next card that I made with my brand new SU Embossing folder (love them)

I tried to do a close up so you could see that I sprayed glittery schtuff on the whole card but I dont know if you can really see it.

After the crazy week I have had of ups and downs it sure was gooooooooood to get in my room and make some cards. Thank god for the LSC! Now go see how crazy the loonies are this week..ok!

Today Dee selected for us to use rainbows and at first I thought she meant to use the colors of the rainbow, but she meant actual rainbows so please ignore the flower in the color map above. haha that was my blonde moment for the week.

But I did catch that mistake BEFORE I made my card so I thought I would dig out some buttons (turns out I have hundreds laying around) and used them in my own version of a rainbow.

Loonie Stampers Challenege #106

This week I cheated. Ok so I just wanted to admit that right up front and get it out of the way. We are "supposed" to be using fabric and I used felt. I just couldn't help it. I finally got my wonderful papertrey stuff and I HAD to try out the bookmark die with the felt. So I made this for my friend (I don't know if she will get much use out of it because she is one of those 'read the whole book the same day' kinda girls)

Anyway, even though I cheated, I adorned my bookmark with a great image colored with prismas of course! Now lets go see if I am not alone in the cheating department shall we?!

So this is my new Wall Art and I plan on building a photo wall around it. I was blog surfing one day and came across this post and HAD to have one and so I emailed her and a short while later I was able to put this up on my wall. Now I am hooked and want to add my vinyl to my walls, I am just trying to think of what to put in my craft room.

This is a view down my hallway so you can get an idea of how big it is and how much wall I have to surround it with photos...I have a few new frames already I just need to hang them and print more pictures, you know!

While on the Loonies Vaca Last month, we went to the Bella Store and I bought this cute little image and later that day when we were back at the retreat I used some of Regan's prisma colors and she taught me how to use them! I am SOOOOOO in love with prismas now and the girls heard me say that enough times that they are probably all rolling their eyes now.

Of course I had to make this cute little critter into a GREAT card!

Here is another set I made. I spent hours cutting out flowers using the papertrey dies and felt trim in all the PTI colors. You know what I learned? Those dies are awesome but give me a twitch in my neck trying to get the damn paper out of them after. Thank you Wendy for suggesting I throw it against the wall, she was right it worked every time

Well with school just around the corner I have it on the brain. I am also starting to prepare for the fall craft show and I decided to make some embellishments this year. Last year I met so many fellow crafters that I am hoping some sets like these will appeal to others. Now I just have to figure out how to put them on acetate sheets and what glue to use and the packaging as well!!

Don't you just love those colors? Maria picked these traditionally Christmas colors and tried my darnedest to keep from making a Christmas card. So I did the next best thing with these colors. i made a Teacher card.

I stamped a few of these cuties while on vacation with the loonies, and then I colored her after Regan taught me how to use prismas...this is the second image I have ever color with them. Have I mentioned lately that I LOVE PRISMAS?? haha

Loonie Stampers Challenge #101

Hello Everyone!
Here we go into the next 100 challenges!!

This weeks colors were selected by Dee and we think all the Ontario heat has melted her because this is a BIG challenge. As always, I got all the colors out and got a little frightened. All in all I think it worked out though, and I even managed to use them all...kind of!

I started my card on a Lemon Tart base and layered it with a pattern from a new Basic Grey pad I bought at the Younique Retreat during our Loonies Getaway. I embossed it with the large dots cuttlebug folder. Then I stitched on some lemon and plum pudding satin ribbon and stuck a Beautiful Blooms 2 flower at the bottom. The polka dot patterned block is the reverse side of a Journal Card by October Afternoon and the sentiment from Mega Mixed Messages is stamped on a cardstock sticker by MME. I finished it off with a K & Co bling jewel in the center just to have the new leaf color in there.

I am currently on "Vaca" with the loonie girls and this post was scheduled! If I had to guess I would tell you that right now we are have TOO much fun! I would also say that Eclipse yesterday was AMAZING!!!
Anyway Char picked this week to be a thank you card, nothing else matters.

A few weeks ago, I made this card at my SU Card club so the card is 'almost' all Stampin Up! The Sentiment and rhinestones are the only things that are not.

Here is what I REALLY loved about this card, the inside. I have never made a card with an inside like this before. To Cool, so Wendy (Affleck) if you are reading...thanks it was so FUN to make.

My Escape Route...

Do you have an escape route? What am i talking about, well when everything in life, work, family or any stress at all starts to get to be to much I go to my escape route...my craft room! I love to just go and sit in there and relax. I warn my husband that I am going to disappear and he asks no questions. He knows I need that time to myself and then I just go and sit in there. I will flip through magazines or fiddle on my computer to become inspired and then I just create. My room has been so loyal to me and mu sanity that I decided to give her a makeover!

So enjoy my pics of my recently redone room....

This first picture is my main "station". My desk, which is supposed to be for a computer and what not, but it has a great amount of surface area to work on and also provided a lot of storage. I have plaster walls throughout my whole upstairs of my house so I can not really put up shelves so the extra storage comes in handy. All my do-dads and embellishments and markers, tools etc are tucked into the corner part of the hutch. All my PTI and other clear company sets are in a CD case that is now to small, but I dont think I will be adding to many more sets like these to my collection. Oh you can also see my ribbon hanger thingy, can you believe I always reach for my rolls of ribbon and 90% of the time I forget I have ribbon on there? It has become a decor item, ha!

This is to the right of my Desk, all my ink storage on top is PTI and bottom is SU. I have since taken all my pti inks and put them in a container like the white ones below and I am getting rid of the top ink thingy so i can hang pictures or stamped art instead. i have adjusted my sahelves to fit all my 12 x 12 paper on the bottom. Well I would be lying if I said this was ALL my 12 x 12 paper, I also have 3 of those paper cases accordian style that you can buy from Michaels or Staples

This is to the left of my desk. More storage!!! The ribbon holder my dad made for me back in 2006...LOVE IT!! and then the shelf is full of all my SU stamps that I would LOVE to unmount but really am not that ambitious....lol

more storage.....you know those Michael's cubes are awesome. I may have to retake this picture though because I rearranged everything on this section :D

Can you believe this whole unit (not really a single unit) I put together for a small $85.00? The drawers at the bottom were on sale for $15 each. The three cube shelf things were $10 each...Giant Tiger, I Love You...lol As you can see though I need more stuff to put in here...SHOPPING! I did pick up some cute baskets to put in there from Jysk but i need to go back and get more.

Well hello there!
This week was my color choice and I just felt like having
a nice bright springy color palette!

I used my new Stampin Up set called First Day in order to make a few cards for teachers at school. My Daughter has one teacher who I absolutely LOVE! She is very kind, loving to the kids and damn good at what she does.

Here is my finished inside, complete with a little vellum envelope that holds in a pewter pocket token with a verse on the back written for teachers!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

A Few Pics...Part 3

Part 3...it's almost over I swear. But the good news is today I am sharing some pretty things!

Amongst the planning, Marlyn had said, she wanted to use Martini Glasses with the expanding Gel stuff and lime scented Tea lights from Partylite. So i made the suggestion to fancy them up with butterflies. Remember I used one on my LSC card. (second card). She found Green and white, but since the accent color was like Raspberry Fizz pink I used my copics to color the white ones pink. Then we wrapped the wire of the butterflies around a pen so that it would spiral around the stem of the glasses. It turned out perfect and it was cheap, fast and easy!

Here is the whole cake/cupcake stand. The picture came out kinda dark but it was so pretty!!! and again we used some butterflies and key lime slices to decorate!

The green icing on the chocolate cupcakes was actually lime flavoured, ah YUM!

The Carlizzle story: While ready Twilight Saga, my dearest Husband thought the name Carlisle was pronounced Carlizzle. my friend and I had a good laugh fest over that and harassed him all the time. I made the suggestion (jokingly) to call the dog Bella or Alice and then the joke came around to call her Carlizzle and then I said "yeah, we can call her Carlie for short" and it actually suited her!

I love using different flowers and stacking them into layers!!!

This weeks Current Challenge from Dee we even get to pick whatever blue color we wanted! So I picked Hawaiian Shores which can float from the category of green or blue IMO.

And the cute little butterfly is a leftover from my bosses wedding the weekend before last (we had them on stiff wire and wrapped around the stems of martini glasses as center pieces...pictures to come soon, it was so cool!)

LSC #93 - Fun Felt Cuties

This week was Char's Selection and she picked felt. Fun Fun Felt! All we had to do was use felt in any way, no color picks, no themes, do whatever you want! Well I had a lot of fun with that. I have a friend here locally that makes the cutest little hair clips and more for little girls and she buys adorable felt shapes and things from a lady in the US who makes them all by hand. I had the luxury of being able to get in on the last order and order a ton of little felt cuties.

Here is the FIRST felt cuties I used ever. These little dinos are double layered and embellished with triangles that I added some bling to.

Funky Animal Prints!

I made this card a few weeks ago and forgot to share it with ya. I made this for a friend of ours that works at our favorite pub. She decided to move from here to Calgary and we will miss her so much. She was a very unique lady and LOVES animal print so I whipped this card up for her!

I LOVED making this card with the new Beautiful Blooms and the die cuts that make it so EASY to make your own embellishments!! I need more easy dies with matching stamps, its way cool!

Wow can you believe we are up to #92 in challenges??
Anywho, I made this one up and I am amazed I have Orange in there again. I used to proclaim that I hated orange. I picked these colors though due to my last Papertrey order; I had ordered more paper in these three colors and I took them out of the box and threw them down on my desk and instantly said "oh those colors would look cool together" so here they are.

It was nice to have a moment in my craft room to make this card. Things have been stupid busy for me, both jobs are busy, my boss for my main job is getting married in 9 more days, and to top it all off I had some health issues last week so I have had several Doctors appointments...blah. So I hope everyone's weeks has been better and more relaxed. I also hope you all get into your craft rooms and play with these colors.

Loonie Stampers Challenge #89

Well hello there! I am SO glad it is Friday, let the weekend of working til 4 am and sleeping in late be upon me! Oddly enough I love it!

So this week's Challenge was SUPER fun to do because Dee picked flowers, not from the garden but for our challenge. We had to use flowers in any form: embellishments, pattern paper or stamps. It just so happens that my Package from papertrey finally arrived and i had the new Beautiful blooms and dies to play with!

I also received my Stampin Up Club Purchase this week, so I embossed polka dots over my Gable Green paper. Then I layered it with a Hawaiian Shores (my new fav Color) accent piece embossed with argyle and matted on Aqua mist. As for my flower, I cut white card stock and stamped my floral image using my new Orange Zest Pigment and let me just say: I LOVE the PTI pigments WAY better then their original PM ink pads. So I think I will be replacing all my colors eventually. The next layer I cut from Vintage Cream Felt (also LOVE this product) and stamped my Hawaiian shores flower onto it, plus a few little buttons to finish it off.

I have to say I am pleased with the words on here because I see the style everywhere and claim to myself that I could never to it that way because my obsessive need for things to be straight and proper would not allow me. I think I found a happy medium here.

Loonie Stampers Challenge #88

OK! Seriously? A favorite...I couldn't pick just ONE, So I cased one card from EACH of our Loonies. What can I say I MADE the time even though I technically shouldn't have with all the work I still have to do. Oh well, Here goes!

This first one was a CASE from Maria. I LOVED the simplicity of this card so I just changed the colors and the sentiment.

This lovely card was made a wee bit differently then a SUPER cute car Char had on the COVER of Card Creations - Start to Finish.

Dee did these super adorable little minis and I kind of duplicated them and changed it up a "little" << pun intended.

Wendy did this little ditty for a There She Goes Sketch and I LOVES it. Isn't that ducky so cute?!

Last, but certainly not least, Regan Did a card a while back and I was SO JEALOUS of her wonderful coloring. So I figured I would give my copics a try again. After dusting them off, I think it turned out ok. I need them girls to teach me.....

Flower Shop: Blank Series 2

A few weeks back i had a post about a tropical wedding invite and I was so inspired
by the colors that I made this card in the similar style.

There is something so wonderful about white on white!

Here is the inside...Looking at it now I think if I were to make it again I would leave out the pink layer of cardstock....I feel like it is too much, too bold on the inside.

Flower Shop: Blank Series 1

I did another order for the flower shop last month and have still not posted all of them. The next couple days I will post the blank cards I did. I find then the hardest to do but struggled through it with pleasant results.....Thanks for stopping in and enjoy day 1.

I particularly like the mix of textures on this card and I DO plan to make it again similar...maybe different colors.

Loonie Stampers Challenge #87

Welcome to another exciting Loonie Stampers Challenge!
This week was Char's selections and I LOVE this combo.

I decided to let the colors speak for themselves this week and kept it simple, you know K.I.S.S. Anyway, I have been tired lately of the same old standard card size so i cut and scored this one to be a 4.5 square. I layered my flowers and stamped my image and then did a horrible job marking out faux stitch lines...Next time I try something like this I may just sew it for real. But I made this card in the evening (Thursday) and used the light of my charged laptop as out power was out. We had a BLIZZARD?! Yeah, I know what you are thinking and I agree, WTH???

Anywho the powere is back (for now) and I may need to redo the picture tomorrow. Lets go check out the ladies ......

Loonie Stampers Challenge #86

Welcome to the Loonie Stampers Challenge, this week is my turn to pick. I decided to go outside the box on this one...for me it is and then I struggled with it...LOL I tried a few times to do a card with these colors.

Anyway, I did this first card for my little nephew (he is not really my nephew but his mommy and I have been friends for 27 out 30 Years AND i was there when he was born) He just turned 2 years old and what a sweetie he is.

The funny thing is, I asked my Oldest Daughter McKayla to print her and her sisters names in the card and she decided to put it on the front instead, so I am glad I snapped the picture earlier.

This is the second card I did a few days later...much better. I think this one showcases the colors better. The fat green ribbon is even recycled. My friend (the mommy of my little not really nephew) wrapped this ribbon around my presents for my 30th Birthday. I knew I would use it some day, even if 6 months later. lol

My Brothers minus 1

I was sifting through my pictures and found this one of my brothers and I (minus our Oldest Brother) Its not the greatest of pictures but these days with us all being SO busy you very rarely get us in the same room. LOL This was from my 30th Birthday. The one on the left, PJ, is our "rebel, tattooed, pierced punk" whom I love to pieces. I just need him to design my next tattoo some time before I am 60...lol. The middle one is Chris and it is strange that he didn't have so goofy face. He is our "Chris Farley" of the family because he makes everyone laugh. In fact he makes my mom laugh so hard she sometimes gags...too funny!

... before the Medallion stamp came out? I friggin LOVE this stamp. You can do sooooooooo many things with it!! Anyway, I used ripe avocado and spring moss on it and layered it on Lemon tart.

Here is a few fast and simple cards I made. The flower shop I make cards for wanted some blank one (which I suck at) so I used Life and some sparkly Embossing powder to do these up.

I love the butterflies on this one, makes the cards so natural!

AHEM!! Wendy, I know you are reading this!!! We are FRIENDS OFF right now! Purple...pffft! As you can all tell Wendy selected the challenge this week and she chose,....purple. ( I kid darling, I luvs ya)

...after finishing the card I suppose purple is not so bad (but this card would look supah cute in blues or pinks and greens....lol I have to give Wendy a hard time though!

I made this card with the papers I had leftover from a previous Loonie Stampers Challenge. I almost forgot that I had the cupcake in the 2nd limited edition anniversary set from Papertrey Ink. Speaking of which, I wonder what year three is?

Tropical Wedding

I was asked to do some more samples for a couple that are planning to be married in Mexico...how fun! She wanted a watermelon pink accented with yellow and orange and this is what popped into mind. I have to work up more samples plus do save the date and RSVP cards as well but I was so pleased with the results of these two that I HAD to post now.

I made the tall one with the Life set from Papertrey Ink. The second one is the Medallion Stamp from Stampin Up...which has become a staple in my Craft room lately!

Ever make a card and swear up and down that you will never give it away? I did with this one and then ooops, I gave it away. My sister in law wanted some card for her moms birthday so i out together a gift pack for her and this one was picked to go in as well. I guess I forgot to put it away.... Oh well, I am sure she likes it as much as me, now if only I could remember where I bought that great accordion style ribbon???

Hi How are ya today?
While you are looking at this little love card, I am probably back to work by now...blah! You know sometimes I get so sick of staring at a computer screen all day and wish I had a job doing something else...haha Like making cards ALL the time.
