Well well well! Its my week to pick and I choose these beautiful colors!! Then I sat at my desk to start creating and whamo....I got nothing. LOL So this is what I came up with. I may or may not have cheated but I'll never tell!!

As always when stumped I turn to a Lauren Meader template. I love the K & Company papers on this one; a combo of enchanted evening & spring moss colors (and maybe a few more)

Loonie Stampers Challenge #66

Well Happy Friday the 13th!!! hehe
So this Friday is Maria's Selection of the Loonie Stampers Challenge and
I LOOOOOOVE it (try to imagine me singing that word) These colors are marvelous!

Again I have turned to one of Lauren Meader's Templates to get me through this project. By that I mean that I am preparing for a Christmas Craft Show (which I will be at by the time you read this) and so multi tasking is the key! I have made 10 stationary sets like these in different colors that I will be offering to Monogram while they wait!!

I started by stamping my Giga Stamps on the grid paper from Papertrey Ink in My SU Grey (didn't have any soft stone) and also in my Aqua Mist. Then I used the little images from GL 1 & 2 stamped in new leaf and enchanting evening. I have to say I love the grid paper because i just do NOT have the patience needed for stamping the grid myself....LOL

Each set I made has 3 stationary sheets and 6 note cards. There is a monogram circle on each piece of the set ready for me to add an initial.

The 3 photos above are the cards also included in each set. Then of course I have the envelopes and a pen made to match with a few simple knots of ribbon on the lids!! I hope I sell them all!!

Holiday Treats for you

This is another cookie bag that I made. Thursday's post I mentioned I was doing bag and card sets, but I have also decided to make just the bags. The best part about these is that I use mostly scraps to make them. How perfect is that? Yikes 6 days left until the craft Fair (although I am sure you will be seeing the projects from it for a while yet)

Holiday Treats Bag

For the craft show I have coming up (which is just over a week away) I am making card and cookie bag sets that people can buy to put there own baking in. My friend Sarah is also joining me at the craft fair with her wonderful homemade cookies so we are hoping we can encourage people to buy the bags and place orders for closer to Christmas with her......Now I have to get back to work because I want to have at least 50 of these babies ready to go!

LSC #63

Welcome to the Loonie Stampers Challenge again this week!
This weeks selection is from Char and she picked some fun and funky colors.

I must say I keep a very limited amount of orange on hand but I did happen to have this cute crocheted trim in my stash from an Etsy store. I thought it added a great touch to the decorated bag perfect for some holiday baking! I am making about 30 of these cuties with matching cards for the craft show coming in November.....

Blank Note Card Set

I have made up a ton of Lauren Meader's awesome and easy to use templates in the last little while. I figured if I sit and watch TV while cutting scoring and assembling that it would be handy to have them ready to decorate. I was right as I did 7 Sets in one night.

This is the first of the 7 that I did and it has eight 1/4 cards and envies! I did 4 each of 2 styles of notes. These are very fun to do and quick!

This Year I Wish...

... That I had more time to make these! I had a lot of fun making this scrapbook (5.5 square) out of linen textured envelopes. I used a retired Simply Scrappin' Kit from Stampin up. I kinda {wish} that I had another kit, it went far. I made 3 mini albums 8 full size cards, 9 mini cards and I still have a fair amount left. Anywho, enough blabbing...go look at the rest of the album :)

I used four envies and the middle two I left the envelope flap out so I
could use them as pockets...LOVE how it looks.

This s what I made for the Teachers this Season. I actually made and sold about 10 f these. Very popular and very cute. I think Next I will make some in regular, non themes.

Spring Seed Packets

Every Month My Friend Sarah arranges a basket for the local Sylvan Learning Center to use as a raffle. She bakes and decorates amazing cookies, My friend Tanis makes the most adorable chocolates and I always do a card and some sort of paper project. We all stay within the theme of the month. This month was obviously for Mother's Day and since we are only just getting around to having spring I thought Seed packets would be super cute....SO I did a couple sets and here they are!

This packet is adorned with 2 of my new colors of Crocheted Flowers. The blue is completely new and the Goldenrod Yellow is a slightly brighter version of the yellow I ran out of a few months ago.

On each of the sets the band just slides on and off but works perfectly to keep the packet tidy and closed for great presentation.

Happy St. Patty's Day

This is just a simple little nugget tin I wrapped for St. Patty's Day. Some friends and I contribute things to make a basket for each holiday to be a raffle at the local Sylvan Learning center!

Chocolates and a Card

I made this cute little set the other day for my friend to give her hubby. Awwwww Newlyweds are so cute....excuse me while I get a bucket...LOLI kid, I kid. So I made some homemade xoxo's chocolates in dark chocolate, white and red and taste tested them to make sure they were acceptable and then made another batch for the tin...LOL. The nugget tin from Papertrey Ink fits enough Chocolate to make any 4 year old quite crazy should they try to sneak into the chocolate...HA!

I loved the flourish on this patterned paper and quickly grabbed out a pack of my Prima Gems and found one that lined up with the pattern pretty well. I stamped the sentiments from the Hearts in Encore silver...Love that Stuff.

Chocolate Anyone?

Just a short post because I need to get my butt to bed before i get a second wind!! So today (Monday) I made a bunch of chocolates, I had bought a bunch of stuff to add to my collection months ago and I even tracked down some valentines stuff early. Anyway, I also picked up a new set from Michael's the other day and couldn't resist...this is what I made paired with Lauren's Take along Tote. Also I was inspired by THIS card when I made the mini one seen in picture!

More Books

I am forever losing/forgetting passwords and such! It is so annoying having a zillion different ones and especially doing website work and having different passwords for different sites, so I made a book to put them all in one spot. I like how it turned out, but really don't like the tabs. My White pen sucks and would NOT write properly...oh well!

This book I don't even know what it will be. I was thinking of adding month tabs to it and putting it in my store to sell. Whatever I use it for I sure do like the card stock sticker flowers!!

Loonie Stampers Challenge #25

Hi everyone!! So glad you could join us again for another edition of the Loonie Stampers Challenge. This weeks selection was made by Wendy. I am sure we all bugged her about picking the purple, but honestly I like how these colors came together for this challenge.

The theme she picked to accompany the color selections was Birthday!! So I immediately went into my Paint Shop program and made these balloons to celebrate her challenge. I Love 'em!

So as always...on to the challenge. I DID NOT make a birthday card, but keeping with the theme chosen, made a birthday book.

I started by taking a composition book from the dollar store and used an x-acto knife and a metal ruler to cut off the binding. Then I FINALLY dusted off my Bind It All (that has never actually been used for a project) and covered the covers with Chocolate, then punched out the pages and covers.

Next I layered the Fizz and Lemon and included the polka dot parade paper that had the Plum pudding in it. Is that Cheating? No answers needed I don't care, it counts in my world...lol. I wrapped the saddle stitch Fizz ribbon into a bow and attached the whole thing to my book.

Last I took little pieces of fizz card stock and made tabs (which I mistakenly hand wrote, next time I will take a bit more time and stamp with simple Alpha) I also need to work out the spacing of the tabs. But over all I am very happy with it.

Fresh Baked....

...for you! The other night my BFF (the one who makes all the super cute cakes and cookies) asked if I would be able to make a box around 8x8 for some delicious Valentine's Day Cookies she plans to sell. So I fiddled around this evening and came up with this. I think it ought to do the trick! I made the shell from Pattern paper (12x12) and then I reinforced it with a thinner chipboard. Then once that was secure I made a liner from another piece of patterned paper.

Here is a side view of the box. I really hope that it works for what she wanted to do. I may even bake some of the cookies she was going to make and see how well they fit in there.

I posted this cute all wrapped up box made with divine Raspberry Fizz patterned paper from Papertrey Ink for loonie stampers challenge 22. Well at that time I had not decided what I wanted to do to it. Well, I decided. What do you think?

I made a set of 8: Each set has an envelope, one piece of "dressed" stationary and an additional blank page to provide more text room. I like it!

My Baby Girl is 5!!

Today is my baby girl's birthday! I can not believe she is 5 already. Since it is winter and she has recently fallen in love with skating we decided to do a skating party. So we are going to the rink and rented the birthday room that they have there. Here is the goody package all 16 kids will be getting on top of pizza, cake and cookies.

This is a close up of the note books and candy pouches. I simply cut patterned paper 6.5 x 5. 25 and glued a 3x5 note pad into it. The note pads came in packs of 5 for a dollar at the Dollar Giant.

Awwww! Don't they all look cute!! I love them so much I may do valentine ones for her class...Heck they are simple enough I could do one for each of the 100 kids in her school (not that I am that crazy)

Hopefully I will be back in a few days with pictures of the Birthday party!!

Loonie Stampers Challenge #22

ETA: This project made the Shout Out list ovar at Card Of The Week... I am so excited to be on a list with such GREAT company (Including LSC's Dee in the boxes category)...Go Check ou the Lists they are a great resource of wonderful projects!!

Isn't this one fun? See I told you that you didn't want to miss it!! This one was Regan's turn to pick and she wanted us to use pink to alter any item...CAN NOT BE A CARD...that is SO fun!!!

Ok so I didn't exactly go so far outside the box, in fact I am not even sure if this actually counts as it is made from a template. It is pink, not a card and I am in love with it...LOL


This is the outside of my "All Wrapped Up" box! It's all wrapped up in Raspberry fizz paper and fizz mix pattern papers. The outside is relatively blank but I am unsure what I am going to use this for just yet. I think I may make it a stationary set and add it to my store.


Here is the beautiful inside...I am SO in love with this patterned paper. I think it is Papertrey's best yet and the rumor in blog world is they will release a stamp set that matches those pretty florals this month!!!

I think A stationary set would work well in here if I put the envies in one side and folded the notes into the other side. I even put the inner pockets a little higher up so perhaps I can find a way to mount a pen in the spine.
