Maria wanted us to use cute little creatures on our cards and here is mine. I went a little mild with the butterflies but I HAD to. The little butterflies are two freakin cute and embossed

Dawn made this wonderful card a while back and I LOVED it, so have to try it. Of course I did not change much....it was perfect already. Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration Dawn!
This selection was Regan's pick. The colors and making your own background, a really fun challenge!!
This selection is brought to you by Dee who chose white, sweet blush, aqua mist and dark chocolate. Normally I LOVE these colors, but this week I am not so must loving the card. At least I am caught up now.
Well I stamped the tree after I had colored the rubber with my SU Markers and then I was just going to trim around the outside of the tree. It turns out I hated how it looked so I decided to see what it would look like if I cut a little more...I like it even if it did take about 30 minutes to do it. I layered it on some SU papers from "Walk in my Garden" which will be available in the Spring Mini. I also used a stamp that is in the upcoming mini called "Oval All" and punched it out with a matching punch in the same Mini. Then I stamped and colored the butterfly again, cut it out and popped it up on the card. I have to say this is one of my Favorites in a long time and I am never giving it away...haha.
Sorry I am late, I have been sick with a head cold and didn't have a bunch of mojo. My Dayquil must have kicked in today because I finally got some stuff done.
This first card I actually like now that I have stared at it long enough...Lol I guess it had to grow on me. All Supplies are Papertrey Ink except my crocheted flowers and the American Craft Brad (which matches almost perfectly to PTI Ocean Tides)
This last one has a bit more color then it was supposed to but I liked it and I am showing you anyway. Supplies from Papertrey Ink, Making Memories & Stampin Up
This set is 5.25 square and I am in Loooooove with it. The base is made of Pure Poppy followed by true black and then stampers select. The stampers select is not printed on, I did however roll my stampin wheel from Stampin up along the edge and then colored it in with my copics. Next I printed the invitation on vellum trimmed it smalled and attached it through the white and black layers (before fixing it to the red) with silver brads. I did the envelope and response card to match.......Wanna know what this card looks like made of Raspberry Fizz?
......Heaven! Just a note all the info in the invitation is me, my DH and our parents and the rest of the info is false, made up, make believe...LOL
Say WhAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaT?! (ok it sounds better when Ellen does it) LSC with No ribbon? That's right folks you heard it here! This week was Regan's turn to select the LSC and she picked a very nice color combo and tortured us and herself with no ribbon allowed. I have been putting this one off for a while and even debating doing it in the morning. All of a sudden (while looking through a sears catalog) I got an idea and here I am 20 mins later. Enjoy!
Ok so I am not entirely happy with my liquid pearl dots around but the idea was good. LOL
I was organizing all my cards recently into better grouped categories (I am a bit OCD with my crafty things) and it suddenly occurred to me that I had no anniversary cards, NOT A SINGLE ONE! Not good, especially since my oldest brother and his wife have their 14th anniversary coming. (Man I feel old...I met his wife, girlfriend at the time, when I was just 14 and now there son is turning 14...yikes) Anywho, this card is so cute! I am thrilled with how it turned out. The large hearts from a Stampin Up set had the words Lovey Dovey on them and o covered them with a flower from making memories.
This week was Dee's selection and I must say I knew this combo is gonna be a keeper for card after card. However I am so late making /posting this card that I am not to thrilled with it. I did make it for some specific though.
Today is my Oldest Brother's Wife's birthday (did you get all that?) anyway our local radio station is currently doing a contest for a "Jet away to Jamaica" trip, and she was selected as a finalist a few days ago. Anyway, happy Birthday to Rhonda and I hope by the time you get this card I have to add a Congratulations stamp to the inside. The contest finishes on the air today!
This ......is my ceiling after too much partying with the snow that melted into my attic and through my hallway ceiling. Just for the record this ceiling is plaster which makes matters worse. How many people do you know that actually still handle plaster??? Not many my friends. So I am hoping before my oldest brothers wife wins a trip to Jamaica he will come over and tell e he can help since he is in the drywall profession. This folks is going to be a damn long weekend as we are supposed to have all that nice "melt the snow off your roof and into your attic again" kind of weather. For the first time in a loooooooong time I have a reason to wish for a cold weekend. My boss/friend called and said she is going to lend me her boyfriend (get your minds out of the gutter) as he owns his own roofing company in Edmonton and said he will try and patch us up this weekend when he is here.
