Cute 'Lil Pumpkin

I designed this little card after a friend of mine told me she is planning a baby shower for a girl who is having a fall baby with a fall theme shower. She saw something online that she liked and described it to me and this is what I can up with from what she told me.I used the Costume Bears Stamp from Stampin' Up! and used SU inks to watercolour. Then I printed the text on very vanilla cardstock and distressed the edges. Next, using my beloved Cuttlebug (CB) embossing machine I embossed the party invitationa nd chalked it with brown. After die cutting some fall colored leaves, also with my CB I glued them all onto a peach color Bazzil Bling Cardstock.I REALLY love the Bazzilll papers. Espicially the Bling. It has just enough texture and a wonderfull little shimmer to just dazzle up any card or project.

HB for my Brother

LOL!! I had fun with this one. A combination of great paper, awesome rub ons from sandylion and matching cardstock stickers made this perfect card. I also inked the edges and tied ribbon around the letters before I put them on the card. My brother got a chickle out of the card as well. After reading the quote "why is a birthday cake the only food you can blow on and spit on and everyone rushes to get a piece?" I also wrote on the inside "probably because YOU would eat ANYTHING!!" LOL I definitely HAVE to make more of these cards.

Ribbit, Ribbit

Ribbit Ribbit!! What a super cute card!! Basically made the same way as the card in my last post except some of the materials. I used: Old Olive & Blue Bayou SU cardstock, Old Olive & Black Ink, Ribbon, Button Brads & GOOGLE EYES!!! How Cute!!

Another Favorite Card

Flower Pocket Birthday Card!! When I recieved this Stampin' Up! Set "Pocket Fun" I was absolutely beside my self. I loved making this card.I started by embossing a peice of folded SO SAFFRON SU cardstock with my Cuttlebug (traffic Jam Embossing). Then I stamped the pocket onto some PIXIE PINK cardstock and cut it out. Then I added some white button brads (making Memories I think) to the pocket before applying the pocket to the card.I water colored the flowers and leaves using SO SAFFRON and OLD OLIVE then attached them to the card using foam dots. Then added some ribbon and the birthday tag stamped from the warmest regards set.Stay tuned.... In my next post I will ad my Pocket frog!!

A Custom Card

So I am just going to get started by adding some of my favorite cards and some breif descriptions (or something like that) so that I can maybe get used to it and figure out how it works. :)
So this is a card that was inspired by an ebay customer. She had a friend that had her house burn to the ground and she was looking for an inspiring card to send her. She had found a picture that had a verse on it and emailed me the picture. So I replicated it in this card and they BOTH loved it.
I used Bazzill textured cardstock, a little bit of printing on vellum, some brads and the Stampin' Up! Brocade Basics. Finished it off with a little matching sheer ribbon!!
I hope you have enjoyed my very first card blog posting!!
