Loonie Stampers Challenge #71

So, are you ready for Christmas? I can NOT believe it is a week away. This Holiday Season seems to have sneaked up on me and I am usually ready but this year I am sort of scrambling for ideas. I just finished spending 2 hours at walmart finishing up my nieces, nephews and friends kids (15 in total) and just have to finish adults....crazy!

Anyway, enough about shopping! Welcome to this weeks LSC selected by Dee. She picked for us to do a NON traditional colored Christmas card and it was fun to do. I found a lot of the cards I did this year were semi-non traditional, but this one is my fav!

So easy to do as well: Starting on an Aqua Mist base I added a Making Memories note paper and snipped a bit of the over hang off. Then I added my ribbon and bows; As always I stamped my image and sentiment after I had the bow on, so needless to say it was a bit tricking getting a flat surface to stamp properly....haha. I finished it with some Scarlett jewel Buttons and TA DA!! Very easy and cute!!

Now visit the ladies and see what funkiness they have brought this week!
Thanks for stopping in :)

Christmas PAR-TAY!!!!

Each Year one of my close friends (who luckily lives with in crawling distance from my house) throws a Christmas party for all our friends and a few family members as well. Traditionally each year I make the invites and she writes a funny Christmas poem for the inside.... Here are the cards that I made 10 of in less them an hour.

and last but not least here is this years poem... (no one invited reads this blog except me and the author hehehe)

A Christmas Invitation
is probably what you need.
A martini sure will help
bring you to your knees.

We've made our guest list,
and checked it twice....
You're invited and
we can't wait to hear
whether you've been
naughty or nice!!

So come once again
to the Quinton household,
On December the 19th
some memories will unfold!

Come jingle and jangle,
'round about eight
We'll help you put on
your Christmas weight!!!

Mini Angel

I made 10 of these to sell as a set for the Christmas Craft Show! I have had these little Quickutz Angels assembled forevah! 'Bout time I used them up! That seems to be a theme for me this year, I am REALLY using a lot of the stuff I have been hoarding. Maybe if I use up enough stuff it will be easier to rearrange my room and buy more.....LOL

Thanks for peeking in! I hope your little ones had a blast yesterday trick or treating...I will be posting pictures of mine soon...

Cute little pom pom's

I had a lot of fun making this card but that was over 2 weeks ago. I have since replaced the poms with something else as the fabric band at the top would not stay stuck to my redline. Any suggestions on how to make this 'gorjus' stuff stick on for good?

3 x 5 Christmas trees

I love this stamp set! I picked it up at M's a few weeks back. I was getting bored with the standard 4.25 x 5.5 cards so I made these ones 3 x 5 and stamped the envies to match.

Thanks for peeking in today! Have a Great day and come back tomorrow for another week of Loonie Stampers Challenge!

Merry & Bright

I so wish I could have got the vintage labels set from Papertrey Ink but both times I have ordered in the last month it has been sold out. Getting ready for the craft fair I couldn't wait to do my ordering. Anywho, this card is cute without lines or dots around it and it was quick and easy as well!!

LSC #62 - Fa la la la la

Hi people! This week is my selection and since I am completely obsessed with blue brown combos that is what I picked. I think that combo transfers to Christmas projects very nicely!! I kind of made the graphic match my project as well, he he he I find it very esthetically pleasing :)

ETA: I received a shout out for this project on the Best of the Blogosphere
at the Card of the Week Blog :)

I chose to use one of Lauren's template at Papertrey Ink! I bought this one when it first came out and did not even open the file until now! The template is so straight forward and simple to use with complete picture assembly guide to boot! How can you go wrong...you can't so I made this one and 9 more shells ready for decorating.

I cant wait to see some more blue/brown Christmas goodness! Follow me around to the girls and see what they made :)
