This is actually a Stampin Up Rub on and I just cut it out to make the shape of the card. I also cut all the pieces of the rub on apart and added them all separately so that I could put the text on white and cut it out. After I was done cutting I popped it up with dimensionals.

Something Different

at least it is for me. I would normally never put these colors together but I found the ribbon at M's and thought it looked nice. SO what the heck, it "fell" into my cart and finally MONTHS later I decided to try it. I likes it!

This is a little card I made for a friend. Her son's Teacher was having twins.
I really had fun with the fact I got to use pink and blue!! Very fun Card.

Pool Play

I just wanted to share some great pictures my friend Tanis took of my children while she baby sat them last week. I am hoping to do some scrapping with these soon.

Help, I need inspration...western style

Seriously? I was asked to make a western themed wedding card and I am at a complete loss. I have absolutely no idea what to do. Somebody PLEASE inspire me...HAHAHA

Loonie Stampers Challenge #50

Well I am a little late as I finished my card early and then forgot to schedule my post. I still had it as a draft. Oops! Anyway, this week was my selection and I really had fun with this one. It is the first card I have had the pleasure of making since I was working outside the house. (normally I do web sites at home) I have to say, I prefer staying home...LOL

First I used silver pigment to stamp dots on my card base, then I made the focal piece. I stamped text words using my PTI set. Over top of the text I silver embossed my PTI flourishes, inked the edges and then distressed it.

Last I added the ribbon, pin and the hardware with the sentiment and tadaaa!!

I am in fact still alive! I have had a lot going on (and I shall not bore you with the details) But I am going to try and get caught up on work first and then hopefully I will be back later tonight or early tomorrow with my Loonie Stampers Challenge card and hopefully a few other projects I have not had time to blog!!
