Cute little pom pom's

I had a lot of fun making this card but that was over 2 weeks ago. I have since replaced the poms with something else as the fabric band at the top would not stay stuck to my redline. Any suggestions on how to make this 'gorjus' stuff stick on for good?

3 x 5 Christmas trees

I love this stamp set! I picked it up at M's a few weeks back. I was getting bored with the standard 4.25 x 5.5 cards so I made these ones 3 x 5 and stamped the envies to match.

Thanks for peeking in today! Have a Great day and come back tomorrow for another week of Loonie Stampers Challenge!

Merry & Bright

I so wish I could have got the vintage labels set from Papertrey Ink but both times I have ordered in the last month it has been sold out. Getting ready for the craft fair I couldn't wait to do my ordering. Anywho, this card is cute without lines or dots around it and it was quick and easy as well!!

Thanks for peeking in today!

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

This months blog hop is to show your Christmas schtuff! This is one of the things I have been working on for my gift lists this year. These little note card sets are FAB!

For this set I stamped black polka dots onto sweet blush paper and then constructed the template as per the instructions. Once I was done that I stamped text and polka dots alternately onto vintage cream card stock. Then I layered it with sweet blush and vintage cream to write on. As a finishing touch on this card (right) I added a strip of True Black Twill and punched out the circle from the wedding day stamp set.

The other card is much more simple with a band of text at the top and the same circle. Once I decided who is getting this beauty I will stamp the initials in the circles. Here is a few more that I have made as well......

Visit the Blog Hop Thread on the PTI Forum to check out some more crafty goodness!!

Yummy!

This card makes me hungry! Yup I am tired and that is all I have to say...lol

Thanks for stopping by, see ya tomorrow!

JUGS2...Kinda

I am afraid I am still waiting for my Papertrey order so I don't have anything that resembles aqua mist but I wanted to play so I substituted it for some enchanted evening.

Thanks for having a peek. See you tomorrow!!

LSC #63

Welcome to the Loonie Stampers Challenge again this week!
This weeks selection is from Char and she picked some fun and funky colors.

I must say I keep a very limited amount of orange on hand but I did happen to have this cute crocheted trim in my stash from an Etsy store. I thought it added a great touch to the decorated bag perfect for some holiday baking! I am making about 30 of these cuties with matching cards for the craft show coming in November.....

Thanks for stopping in to check out the LSC this week. Don't forget to visit the other ladies.

Plus if you play along with us please leave us a comment so we can come and check it out!

Merry. Bright. Love.

Just a quick little guy I made from a sheet of die cuts!

I have so many cards to post that I am starting to double post a bit, Be sure to scroll down to my earlier post!

Blank Note Card Set

I have made up a ton of Lauren Meader's awesome and easy to use templates in the last little while. I figured if I sit and watch TV while cutting scoring and assembling that it would be handy to have them ready to decorate. I was right as I did 7 Sets in one night.

This is the first of the 7 that I did and it has eight 1/4 cards and envies! I did 4 each of 2 styles of notes. These are very fun to do and quick!

Thanks for peeking in see you again tomorrow!

This Year I Wish...

... That I had more time to make these! I had a lot of fun making this scrapbook (5.5 square) out of linen textured envelopes. I used a retired Simply Scrappin' Kit from Stampin up. I kinda {wish} that I had another kit, it went far. I made 3 mini albums 8 full size cards, 9 mini cards and I still have a fair amount left. Anywho, enough blabbing...go look at the rest of the album :)

I used four envies and the middle two I left the envelope flap out so I
could use them as pockets...LOVE how it looks.

Thanks for peeking in today!! See you tomorrow for some more fun Christmas cards using my scraps from this kit!!

LSC #62 - Fa la la la la

Hi people! This week is my selection and since I am completely obsessed with blue brown combos that is what I picked. I think that combo transfers to Christmas projects very nicely!! I kind of made the graphic match my project as well, he he he I find it very esthetically pleasing :)

ETA: I received a shout out for this project on the Best of the Blogosphere
at the Card of the Week Blog :)

I chose to use one of Lauren's template at Papertrey Ink! I bought this one when it first came out and did not even open the file until now! The template is so straight forward and simple to use with complete picture assembly guide to boot! How can you go wrong...you can't so I made this one and 9 more shells ready for decorating.

I cant wait to see some more blue/brown Christmas goodness! Follow me around to the girls and see what they made :)

A little shout out

A few days ago I posted a card for a JUGS challenge. It was such a fun new & Fresh Challenge that I am adding it to my list of weekly must do's. I wanted to thanks the JUGS girls alo for the Little shout out on the challenge, Makes me all warm & Fuzzy inside. Last but not least congrats to my girl Wendy who also got a shout out!! Thanks Girls!

OOPS... Im changing my blog again

Well since the layout for my house doesn't allow me to move things around I am going to settle for doing it to my blog. haha. Sad thing is I am a Web Designer and I don't have the time to make my own. Heck I have not even updated my own website where I sell cards since February. Oh well, isn't life fun?

Thanks for your patirnce over the next little while while I mix things up!

Holiday Greetings & Glitter

This is a really cute card combining Aqua Mist, Vintage Cream and Black. I stamped the background builder from the Damask Set and followed it with the large flourish from the flourishes set. After I added the ribbons I stamped the snowflake from last years Holiday Tag set and added one of Dawns Holiday Signature greetings (I want her handwriting) Then I used my glitter glue pen to added to the damask and the flourish sticking out from the ribbon.
Thanks for stopping in to visit. Have a great day!

The sentiment is a rub on...love it!

LSC #61... scared me!

Hiya! How is everyone this week? Well I am Greeeeeeeeat! I have a relatively looooong week so I spent HOURS in my craft room last night and I made almost 40 cards, including these ones. This week was Wendys turn to torture me.

..um I mean Challenge us with her color combo. I had to cheat because the only thing that was inspiring me was this SU paper from last year and it has blue. I have to say the blue comforted me through this weeks creating process. HAHA I kid you, it wasnt so bad (but I have a reputation of hating orange and green especially when combined) LOL

This is take one

... and this is take two, which I like better, so I made 4 more. Thats a total of 6 cards closer to the craft fair... Thanks so much for coming to visit today and I must also say THANK YOU for all the birthday wishes and my wonderful surprise Birthday Blog Tour!!! Dont these girls Rock??? They sure do so please go visit them.

New Family Pics...long post sorry :)

In September we went and had some family and individual pictures done for our family. We had the photographer (My friend Michelle) meet us at the park where Curtis and I had our wedding pictures done almost 10 years ago..... Enjoy The Pics I LOVE them!!!

MAKE SURE SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN FOR THE BEST PICTURE EVER......YOU WILL LAUGH YOUR BUTTS OFF!!!

This is my Oldest Daughter McKayla who is almost 6 and should be a model ... IMO

I Absolutely LOVE this photo treatment and have asked for another like this for one of my other Daughters pictures. It will be awesome for print and scrapbook pages!

This is my Youngest, McKenzie (3) and she is a little laugh factory. We always laugh at the things she does and says!

We just about DIED laughing when she was supposedly through with pictures and informed us she was gonna "snuggle with the flowers"

Here is a neat treatment with the girls together!

They ALWAYS laugh together!

Here is the family shot we picked...I have a crooked smile...LOL

This was fun and of course McKenzie (second one in) was being a little monkey by squishing her face!

And THIS is by far my FAVORITE picture of them all.....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

That is SO McKenzie!

WCMD Papertrey Challenge #1 - Japan

I think of all the challenges this result was my favorite. I had a few cards before this one and they all hit the scratch pile...LOL I LOVE the branches from the Out on a Limb (the original) set from Papertrey Ink.

It has been a blast doing all these challenges and in one day no less. That is very not typical of me. Make sure you go to Nichole's Blog to Check out her Mr Linky of all the entries!!!!

WCMD Papertrey Challenge #2 - Mexico

Welcome to Mexico!!! I love all the varieties of blankets you see from that country. This card reminds me of them. I used a burlap feeling ribbon in multiple colors and stitched them on with BRAND NEW SEWING MACHINE that my bestest friend bought me for my Birthday last week. (Thanks Tanis) I added a few of my crocheted flowers and a simple greeting!

WCMD Papertrey Challenge #3 - India

This is my Card Inspired by Indian Mehndi Designs (Love this design)
I used copper emboss powder as it really speaks true to the henna ink used in mehndi.
I also incorporated red as it gives the final touch to an India feel card.

This is a close up of the embossing so you can see the true color.

WCMD Papertrey Challenge #4 - Australia

My Challenge is inspired by this picture of the Australian Outback...Beautiful Scenery!!

LSC #60 Happy Turkey Day!!

Maria picked this week to be Thanksgiving themed in honour of the Canadian Thanksgiving Holiday coming up October 12th. See, she really should be Canadian after all.

I made this card with papers I bought last year, time to use them up! That is my theme for the month trying to use up stuff I have hoarded. LOL Anyways I also recycled this ribbon...technically. My brother (who lives with us) bought me a bottle of my favorite liqueur for my birthday last night and he sneaked into my craft room and grabbed some ribbon and made a perfect bow on the bottle....And bless him he went straight to PTI ribbon that matched the bottle lid...hahaha.

Thanks for stopping in and Don't forget to visit my Chicks!!!
