Wedding Invites...masculine!

So a couple friends of mine are getting married this June and I have the honour of doing their Wedding Invitations. Now that we have nailed down the difficult details (they are both guys and we had to do some thing classy and masculine-ish) This is what I will be doing!! So excited to get these done.

Loonie Stampers Challenge #130

Maria selected some really great colors this week so i used them to make a new bookmark for my daughter who just got a bunch of new books for her birthday..She liked it so much she took it to school with her this morning for show and tell.

Sidenote: My Sister in law had her baby yesterday....at home...on her bed! LOL She came so fast they didnt have time to even get to the hospital. She is SO cute

Loonie Stampers Challenge Double Whammy!!

Well I am feeling much better since my last post. Seriously coughing so hard I thought I was gonna be 31 years old with depends! Anyway, Thanks go out to Crafty Kat and Dee for the well wishes for a speedy recovery, Kat you cracked me up! Thanks.

Now back to business...Here is my card from last weeks challenge. It was not what I had planned but I only have access to part of my craft room and a limited amount of supplies since my house JUST finished having insurance claim repairs done to my ceilings and paint in my whole house. Given the limited supplies, I have to say I am quite in love with this card :)

The current weeks challenge today (from Dee) I wanted to use my new paper from Stampin Up! so I used it to make a wrinkly paper flower. Also i used some ribbon (twine type stuff) that I have been hanging on to. I thought it added a rustic yet elegant twist to the flower...pearls adding to the vintage factor and voila!

Here is a sneaky peek (and crappy picture) of my new wall colors, think stampin ups crumb cake and chocolate chip ;) Once I get all my pictures mounted and get better pictures I will show you guys the before and after. Still cant sign off on the insurance claim yet because the drywall guy sucks and has to redo quite a few areas of my ceiling.

McKayla's Wii Birthday!

Just wanted to share a few pictures from McKayla's 7th Birthday Party...she wanted it all wii..cute!

Best tasting Birthday cake I have had! It was a marble cake with raspberry filling with only a super thin layer of butter cream icing holding on the fondant layer...and cute!!!

Cough Cough

So I have bronchitis really bad which is super fun. I have discovered after having two kids and having this cold, that not only have I been coughing so hard I have thrown up but I also have to avoid peeing...LOL hahahaha I love the body as it gets older!

Anyways, I am having insurance work done in my house this week so my craft room is buried under living room furniture and such and will bring my loonie cards in a double whammy next Friday. :)
