Well I stamped the tree after I had colored the rubber with my SU Markers and then I was just going to trim around the outside of the tree. It turns out I hated how it looked so I decided to see what it would look like if I cut a little more...I like it even if it did take about 30 minutes to do it. I layered it on some SU papers from "Walk in my Garden" which will be available in the Spring Mini. I also used a stamp that is in the upcoming mini called "Oval All" and punched it out with a matching punch in the same Mini. Then I stamped and colored the butterfly again, cut it out and popped it up on the card. I have to say this is one of my Favorites in a long time and I am never giving it away...haha.
For this card I trimmed the base of the card front around the scalloped portion instead of having a basic card, I kind of like it! Crocheted flowers of course! These one My Mom actually made.
Sorry I am late, I have been sick with a head cold and didn't have a bunch of mojo. My Dayquil must have kicked in today because I finally got some stuff done.
This first card I actually like now that I have stared at it long enough...Lol I guess it had to grow on me. All Supplies are Papertrey Ink except my crocheted flowers and the American Craft Brad (which matches almost perfectly to PTI Ocean Tides)
This last one has a bit more color then it was supposed to but I liked it and I am showing you anyway. Supplies from Papertrey Ink, Making Memories & Stampin Up
I love this card! It reminds of sunny skies and warm weather...that we are NOT currently having. Honestly Mother nature give it a rest already!!
Another card I submitted last month to Cards mag. It is definitely a little "out there" in terms of style and designs for me, but what the heck. Maybe I will save it for McKayla's Teacher just before summer break!!
Couldn't resist, had to do another one!
Thanks for stopping in and I will see you again tomorrow, I have almost a weeks worth of posts ready to go!!!
Heeeeellllllllooooooooooo everybody! I have had a fantastic week but I am sure glad it is Friday! Why? Because it is LOONIE day! Yes I am nuts but I was referring to our weekly challenge with the best blog buddies a girl could ask for!
Today is My Oldest Brother's Anniversary. His wife, Rhonda is the one who I blogged about in January. She won the trip to Jamaica. Anyways that aside today They have been Married for 14 years (wow I feel Old, I remember meeting her like it was just yesterday) They don't read my blog so that should still give me time to get the card to them.

Here is a close up of the butterfly with the crystals through it. I cut pieces of my say it with crystals from prime to make the swirl.
I decided to start doing some more sketches with my time, so what better then a "My Time Saturday Sketch" This is Sketch 27! I Love it.
So this week was Wendy's Selection. At first I was not liking it, but that is what is all about right, a Challenge! So I then pulled out the papers and set then on my desk, and suddenly it came to me! I Love the combo, so much in fact that I made TWO cards, but you only get to see one today. :) So this is my card and Thank you Wendy for the Great Colors.
All supplies are from Papertrey, with the exception of my crocheted flower. Oh and you HAVE to use buttons and I wanted to point out that the center of my flower has 2 of the melon berry buttons stacked on top of each other and then topped with a rhinestone.

I have been meaning to do the color challenges from Kristina Werner for a long time and I have never seemed to have enough time. Enough is enough I am making time now. I loved the colors too that definitely helped!! Enjoy and I will see you again soon!
This week...WEEK 30 can you believe that???? Anyway, Maria picked anything butterflies! How fun is that. To sit here and dream of seeing butterflies as we just entered another nasty bout of winter. I will NOT be dedicating this card to Mother Nature! Anyway here is my card!
This is just a cute little card I made for my Husbands Cousin. They just recently had another baby girl. So now they have 3 precious girls, Brooklyn, Breanne and Bronwyn!! Congrats to Ajay & Thory but man can you imagine the teen years with three girls? I thought was gonna be bad enough.
I made the base of this card from Plum Pudding c/s, matted with Lemon Tart and then put my flowers on white. My flowers are the colors I am calling, lilac, lemon and moss and I neatly tucked a piece of the leafy vine stuff from Papertrey Ink that Char bought me. It fits so perfectly!! I also used my Plum Pudding Swiss dot ribbon from papertrey Ink and a scalloped trim from making memories!
Here is the inside of my card finished with double layers of paper, more ribbon and another precious flower! If you want to order any flowers you can do so by visiting my Etsy Store, I can't wait to see you there!!
