The stampers select is not printed on, I did however roll my stampin wheel from Stampin up along the edge and then colored it in with my copics. Next I printed the invitation on vellum trimmed it smalled and attached it through the white and black layers (before fixing it to the red) with silver brads. I did the envelope and response card to match.......Wanna know what this card looks like made of Raspberry Fizz?
Ok you talked me into it.....
......Heaven! Just a note all the info in the invitation is me, my DH and our parents and the rest of the info is false, made up, make believe...LOL

A CASE of Wedding invites
I recently was asked to do up some wedding invitations in red, black & white. I did do 5 or 6 examples, some of which I will share with you over the next little while. This one was kinda CASED and then modified from Nichole's Countdown to the Wedding Day Set from Alli Miles. Ok Pause for a minute...I have to say how much I LOVE this set, everything goes together so well and the images are so elegant no matter what colors you pair them with....Not to mention my affliction with flourish looking things.
So back to the card...I also made a matching RSVP card and stamped the envelopes to match but that was after I took this picture...LOL. On the inside I simply printed the invitation verse and then created the card. I also left a break in between the invite words and the reception details and stamped the flourish thingy (technical term) in pure poppy. This card is my DH's favorite out of the first 4 invites I made. He has not seen the rest.
I will be back tomorrow with another invitation.

Loonie Stampers Challenge #28
Say WhAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaT?! (ok it sounds better when Ellen does it) LSC with No ribbon? That's right folks you heard it here! This week was Regan's turn to select the LSC and she picked a very nice color combo and tortured us and herself with no ribbon allowed. I have been putting this one off for a while and even debating doing it in the morning. All of a sudden (while looking through a sears catalog) I got an idea and here I am 20 mins later. Enjoy!
Ok so I am not entirely happy with my liquid pearl dots around but the idea was good. LOL

Happiness this special day
I was organizing all my cards recently into better grouped categories (I am a bit OCD with my crafty things) and it suddenly occurred to me that I had no anniversary cards, NOT A SINGLE ONE! Not good, especially since my oldest brother and his wife have their 14th anniversary coming. (Man I feel old...I met his wife, girlfriend at the time, when I was just 14 and now there son is turning 14...yikes) Anywho, this card is so cute! I am thrilled with how it turned out. The large hearts from a Stampin Up set had the words Lovey Dovey on them and o covered them with a flower from making memories.
I used the heartfelt basics set from Papertrey Ink and I love how you can single out certain words and do them differently. I first stamped the bottom line of the greeting and worked my way up so that it would be spaced properly. I had so much fun gold embossing the one word, it really strengthens the warmth of the sentiment!!
{Supplies: Stamps from Papertrey Ink, Stampin Up & Inkadinkado. Paper: Papertrey Ink sweet blush, vintage cream, true black. ribbon vintage cream satin papertrey ink. Paper flowers from Making Memories. Baubles from sollar store. }

Dawn's Favorites Challenge
The Challenge for today was to use one of the color combos in Dawns projects featuring her new stamp set being released tonight. OMWord! I can not wait to have it in my hot little hands!!! It is going to be a go to set for me...after you have a peek at my cards why don't you go look for yourself! Dawn McVey's Blog
I started by placing a K & CO tag onto stampers white, added the lemon grosgrain at the bottom. Then I put scallop circles down trying to think what to put on them and then it all came to me...LOL This is what I came up with. The bling is cut apart pieces of a flourish from Prima gems.
This card, taken in horrible lighting, uses Aqua mist, Raspberry fizz and Groovy Guava! I used the GG because it seems as though it is a close match for Melon. Cant wait to have the real thing.

Thanks go out to Dawn & Nichole for challenging us to make more and Dawn the color combos you come out with are always inspiring!! Thanks for popping in to have a peek.
Ok I am off to the party......after I forward my paycheck to the PTI Gang...lol

Loonie Stampers Challenge #27
This week was up to Char to pick and she hit a home run!! I LOVE this combo. thanks for an easy week Char!!
So first off I have to say i deviated from the colors. I traded in my vintage cream for White. I had to since I did not have any book print and I am sure my DH would kill me if I punched out some pages of his book collection...SO instead I grabbed an old copy of My Stampin Success Magazine and it was all pretty much white in the background. But what the heck, I recycled and made a beautiful card....remember folks Card Maker not Card Giver this one is staying close to home...LOL Na Na Na Boo boo...Ok, I am obviously going on fumes at this point after having 3 hours of sleep.
Thanks for stopping in and don't forget to see my girls & link up your card challenge!!

Chocolates and a Card
I made this cute little set the other day for my friend to give her hubby. Awwwww Newlyweds are so cute....excuse me while I get a bucket...LOLI kid, I kid. So I made some homemade xoxo's chocolates in dark chocolate, white and red and taste tested them to make sure they were acceptable and then made another batch for the tin...LOL. The nugget tin from Papertrey Ink fits enough Chocolate to make any 4 year old quite crazy should they try to sneak into the chocolate...HA!
I loved the flourish on this patterned paper and quickly grabbed out a pack of my Prima Gems and found one that lined up with the pattern pretty well. I stamped the sentiments from the Hearts in Encore silver...Love that Stuff.
Ok well I have to get going, busy day today. See you all here tomorrow for a Loonie Stampers Challenge that you are NOT going to want to miss!

Butt Out!!
Lol I bet a bunch of you think this is going to be a feisty post about someone or something....lol Well you would be half right. It is about me. Its ALL about me (sorry Char it's not about you today...Love ya though...lol) I have made it my new quest, goal, plan, whatever you want to call it....to quit smoking. Butt out! The day before last I had a migraine and next to no sleep during the night and hence I slept all day. I thought I might use that as an advantage point to stop smoking. I can not do it cold turkey....I just do not work that way. So today my goal was to have no more then 5, which is great considering I smoke a pack a day. Yikes! I know. So it is almost bedtime as I write this blog and the fifth one is still outside in the ashtray. Tomorrow my Goal is 3 and then Friday one, Saturday None! Wish me luck people! I will have another post a bit later today...it is much finner then this one. Thanks for stopping in!

Je T'aime
Same time last year, perhaps earlier, I ordered a wonderful set from Papertrey Ink called Sweet Love and it mistakenly had this sentiment missing from it. So Papertrey, being the most outstanding company I know of, made sure they sent the image to each and every customer that had ordered the set. I have never used it....LOL. This is my most favorite set as well as it helped me win my first (and last so far) Papertrey Ink Guest Star Stamper which lead me to meet my good friend Char as she won the same month.
Ok so how was that for off topic! The card is stamped, from the with sympathy set, in true Black on vintage cream c/s, matted on true black & sweet blush. Accented with these cute black & pink flowers from Making Memories and also has some divine true black satin ribbon. As always the inside of my card is stamped to match but this time I wanted to show you the stamped envelope to match. Loves it!
I also wanted to mention that my Crocheted flowers are still up for sale. Yo can contact me via email from this page or you can click onto my Etsy shop which is now conveniently located in the right hand column on the blog. Thanks for stopping in and see you tomorrow when I announce my latest goal. I know a boring post but it means a lot to me and maybe I will share another card as well....lol

CPS102
Papertrey has paired up with CPS this time around and I HAD to do the sketch. I love it and it was so simple. Why do I not do more sketches? Anyway this is my interpretation of the sketch.
I used PTI Dark Chocolate card stock, the pattern paper is from a "Fashion District" Me & My Big Ideas mat pad, Matted on PTI Ripe Avocado card stock, Vintage lace, Homemade crocheted flower with a Que Sera Sera K&Company gem in the center. I stamped Feel better soon from Papertrey's Last Year Anniversary Set Simple Things!

This particular Flower is actually Crocheted Ribbon and edged with a delicate thread border. I wanted to show you this picture so you can see how flat they actually are.

2 for 1 Papertrey Style
Have you been following the countdown to one of the biggest, most exciting releases ever at Papertrey? If you have not, you should be! Today's post is two of the last challenges they have had. I didn't have time to do the color combo for the contest but decided to do the current challenge using the last challenge colors.
The challenge was to do the connect the dots puzzler which revealed a card sketch. So using the colors in the previous challenge I decided to mix it up a little by making the sketch into a 6x6 scrapbook page for my yearly book. I started by stamping polka dot basics in versamark onto Ocean tides card stock. Then added the center note paper from Making Memories, dressed with some pure poppy grosgrain ribbon. Then I added some huge square jeweled stickers from MM on the right hand side. Next I cut away some of the packaging that the jeweled stickers came on to layer my title. A little bit of going green, but it matched so perfectly I HAD to do it. I used my new favorite Fresh Alphabet for my title and out the year in my own print (I hate my handwriting but whatever...lol) Last but not least, I added a handmade crocheted flower using a variegated thread that matches the summer sunrise perfectly. Are you sick of my crocheted flowers yet? Don't worry that post on getting some is coming soon, I promise!
I love dimension!! Thanks for stopping by to take a peek and good luck to all participants that enter...can you image 95 rolls of ribbon for free?!? I would die! See you again tomorrow!

Loonie Stampers Challenge #26
Welcome to the 26th Loonie Stampers Challenge......This week was my selection and I thought it would be fun to do something we have not done before. I decided we should CASE any of the Loonie Stampers Previously posted cards. So you can blurf the blogs of our girls and find a LSC card you love and case it.
I looked through EVERY single LSC card and I decided on this one of Char's. I love its simplicity and how the heart is a focal point yet does not take away from the message.
On my card I cut some Spring Rain card stock, wrapped my ribbon around it and punched the Martha Stewart border and attached it to my card. Then I pierced it around the edge and drew in the "stitches" with a silver pen. I also drew in the top line of the border punch. Then I used my new FAVORITE alphabet stamp set, Fresh Alphabet from PTI in night of navy ink to make my sentiment. Last I added a hand crocheted ribbon flower. My Mom is brilliant. She found this funky thread like ribbon from Michael's and made a bunch of these flowers for me. I am in LOVE with it.
I also wanted to show you that the flower looks big but actually lays quite flat!
Thanks for coming to see this weeks LSC card and be sure to go and visit the other ladies.
P.S. These flowers are going to be available for purchase soon as well as my other ones. I am hoping Saturday or Sunday I will have all the sets made and pictured and ready for you!!

Chocolate Anyone?
Just a short post because I need to get my butt to bed before i get a second wind!! So today (Monday) I made a bunch of chocolates, I had bought a bunch of stuff to add to my collection months ago and I even tracked down some valentines stuff early. Anyway, I also picked up a new set from Michael's the other day and couldn't resist...this is what I made paired with Lauren's Take along Tote. Also I was inspired by THIS card when I made the mini one seen in picture!
Have a great day, I am off to eat chocolate, um ..... errrrr I mean go to bed! *wink*

More Books
I am forever losing/forgetting passwords and such! It is so annoying having a zillion different ones and especially doing website work and having different passwords for different sites, so I made a book to put them all in one spot. I like how it turned out, but really don't like the tabs. My White pen sucks and would NOT write properly...oh well!

Wings to the Heart
I received my Papertrey order this month in record time, 6 days from the day of the shipping notice. Then I sadly neglected them for almost a whole week. So tonight I decided I Had to do something with the vine & floral images from the "with Sympathy" set. It is so pretty. I stamped the vines in ripe Avocado then I stamped the little 5 petal flower using regal rose from SU, an almost perfect match to the little crocheted flower on my card.
My mom made this particular flower from some colors she found in a thrift shop. I can not believe how one little crocheted flower can make all the difference on a card. Stay tuned as my mom and I continue to make a bunch of crocheted flowers. I do plan to make them up into sets and possibly individuals that you can buy! I just think the prices of some of the ones that are out thee are ridiculous. Anyway, I will let you all know when the flower sale will start. So, Anyone actually interested??
