An Oldie...

Edited to add: Sorry about the lack of Paragraph spacing, Blogger hates me again today :)

But definitely a goodie! I LOVE this Garden Collage set from Stampin' Up! Yet I have never made anything with it (can you believe that?!?!)
Anyway I am currently working on a few things lately, a wedding invitation order (which I will be posting when complete hopefully later this week) and I also have a 100 Card order for the local flower shop that I supply.
They also needed Sympathy cards and so I decided to use this image. Some of the words in the background read thoughts of you so I thought it to be perfect!
I stamped the image in black Staz On so that I could water color it with out any bleeding from the black. Then I used old olive, so saffron, creamy caramel and really rust to color the flower and butterfly.
I really wanted the butterfly to stand out more so I used Crystal Effects on it and I LOVE how it turned out. This product is one that most often forget about but love. You should be able to click on the photo to enlarge it and see it better.
The rest of the card elements are listed below. Have a great day all and don't forget to tune in on Friday 6 am EST for the second edition on the new Loonies Stamper's Challenge. not that I have done my card yet) I cant wait to see what the other 3 girls cooked up!!!
Card Supplies: PTI Kraft, PTI Spring Moss, PTI Stamper's Select, Basic Grey Pattern Paper, SU Garden Collage Stamp set, SU Classic Ink, Black Staz On, PTI Summer Sunrise Swiss Dot Ribbon, Summer Sunrise Ink for sentiment, Martha Stewart Border Punch, Dimensionals.
